Why Drivers Stay

What keeps drivers here is simple:
pay clarity, respect and support

Pay and Weekly Settlements

Clear pay structure, weekly direct deposit, and honest conversations about deductions, revenue, and role expectations before you get started.

Freedom to Choose Better Freight

No forced dispatch. Drivers can discuss preferred regions, freight style, and the type of setup that fits the way they want to run.

Real Support When the Day Gets Hard

Dispatch and fleet support help with breakdowns, appointments, paperwork issues, route changes, and the day-to-day problems that cost drivers time and money.

Home Time and Life Outside the Truck

Home time matters. When a role includes scheduled time off or flight assistance, those expectations should be clear before the first load, not after.

Most drivers do their homework before they ever call. They want to know what the role pays, how much flexibility they keep, what kind of support is available, and whether the company is clear about expectations from the start. They also want to understand how home time is discussed, what kind of freight they will actually run, how equipment is handled, and what the first steps of the hiring process look like before they commit their time to another conversation.

The resources below are here to make that easier. Use them to review pay, hiring steps, home time, equipment, safety, benefits, and support before you decide to apply or speak with recruiting. The goal is simple: give drivers a clearer picture of how things work at BBE, answer the questions that usually come up first, and help you decide whether this is the kind of opportunity that fits the way you want to run.

Support & Home Time

Built Around the Driver, the Family and the Time That Matters

A strong driving job should work not only on paper, but in real life. That means clear communication about routes, home-time expectations, scheduling, and the type of freight a driver will actually run. Big Black Eagle aims to discuss those details upfront so drivers can choose a role that fits their goals, income expectations, and life outside the truck. When the setup is clear from the start, the job is easier to plan and easier to stay with.

Run better freight and keep control. We book loads that typically gross $2,90–$3,90 per mile and we don’t force drivers onto bad freight. You can choose what you run and where you run — if you prefer West Coast lanes, we build your plan around that. We listen to drivers and adjust lanes, schedules, and load options based on your goals.

Newer trucks, maintained by our team. Company trucks are late-model and serviced by our maintenance team to reduce downtime. If a truck goes down, our fleet department reacts fast — we can provide a substitute unit while yours is being repaired. If you choose to wait on repairs, we can cover hotel and meal costs so you’re not stuck paying out of pocket for a breakdown day.

Real support — not a “one-person dispatch.” We have a large dispatch operation (70+ people) and additional fleet support, ready to help with problems, appointments, and urgent situations. We communicate respectfully and clearly — in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Uzbek. We also offer referral bonuses for bringing drivers to BBE, and we can cover air travel to work and home when schedule requirements are met (varies by role: Owner-Operator, Lease, or Team).

FAQ

Questions Drivers Usually Ask Before They Decide to Apply and Call Recruiting

Most drivers prefer to understand the important details before they ever submit a form or speak with recruiting. Questions about how pay works, how much freedom drivers have on the road, how home time is handled, and what kind of support is available usually come up long before the first conversation begins. Drivers also want to understand what kind of freight they will actually run, how equipment is maintained, and how communication works during the hiring and onboarding process.

The answers below are here to make that process easier and more transparent. They explain the basics of pay structure, dispatch flexibility, home-time expectations, equipment support, and what drivers can expect during the first steps of recruiting. Reviewing these questions can help drivers quickly decide whether BBE fits the way they want to run, earn, and plan life on and off the road.

The figures shown on this page are presented as gross pay references unless stated otherwise. Exact take-home pay depends on your role, miles, deductions, home time, fuel, and any optional services. Recruiting can walk you through real examples so you understand what the numbers look like in practice.

BBE advertises no forced dispatch, which means drivers have more say in the loads they accept. Recruiting can explain how that works in practice for each role, including lanes, load options, and scheduling expectations.

Home time depends on your role, your preferred lanes, and how you want to run. Some drivers stay out longer for stronger revenue, while others prioritize more frequent time at home. Recruiting can help match your goals with the right setup.

If a truck breaks down, dispatch and fleet support work with the driver on the next steps as quickly as possible. The exact support available can depend on the role, the equipment involved, and the situation, so recruiting can explain what to expect in more detail.

Recruiting support is available in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Uzbek, making communication easier from the first call through the hiring process.

Drivers should ask how pay is calculated, what fixed weekly costs apply, how maintenance is handled, what support is included, what home time looks like, and what the real operating picture looks like week to week.

During business hours, recruiting aims to respond quickly so drivers can get answers without waiting around. Fast communication helps keep the process simple and clear.
